Summary/Overview:Be responsible for maintaining all mechanical equipment on offshore platform. Ensure all mechanical maintenance activities are carried out in a safe, efficient and professional manner, all equipment achieve expected availability and reliability.Accountabilities and Responsibilities:Ensures compliance with NFX HSE policies, regulations and procedures.Reports hazard to supervisor or HSE representative and take corrective actionEnsure that all activities are carried out in safe, efficient manner in compliance with HSE standards, work procedures.Carry out all routine maintenance and breakdown maintenance for the mechanical equipment in a in safe, efficient manner, This will include, but is not limited to; power generation equipment, compressors, pumps, diesel engine, exchangers, centrifuges, lifeboats, cranes, HVAC, valves etc. Assist team lead to plan yearly work programs and budget for offshore Mechanical Section and execute the work programs accordingly while controlling the expense to be within approved budget.Ensure all Mechanical PMs and CMs are completed in a timely manner.Responsible for conditioned based monitoring maintenance, first line maintenance, and daily walkthroughs inspection of all rotating equipment.Responsible for offshore lubricant managementUse experience and knowledge to investigate and rectify technical problems working unsupervised.Provide on the job training, coaching and support to all mechanical trainees or new comer.Safely carry out all reasonable duties assigned to you during any emergency situation. Assist the mechanical team lead to ensure there are suitable and sufficient spare parts offshore for repairs.Assist team lead to develop training aids, Job cards, Maintenance procedures, Operating procedures and 2 year spare parts for platform mechanical equipment comply with company policies and Maintenance strategies.Remain flexible and be prepared to work and help operations and other trades personnel as required.Responsible as a member of platform emergency response team.Act as mechanical team lead in his area of responsibilities if assigned during his absent.Have the right to refuse implementing the unsafe instruction superior during operating.Responsible for ensuring that all workshop facilities are kept in an orderly manner.Ensuring that good handover notes are provided for alternate.Education, Qualifications &ampamp Experiences: Engineering degree (Preferred), or other relevant expertise;3 years ' offshore experience within the Oil Industry on mechanical equipment maintenance;Good understanding of Offshore Operations, Mechanical equipment. Required Competencies/Skills: Basic understanding in offshore Health, Safety and Environment regulations, standards and procedures.Good knowledge, experience of mechanical equipment associated with the offshore machinery maintenance and repair.Good practical hands-on ability when using mechanical tools. Strong self-motivating work ethics.Basic computer skills in general and in Computerized Maintenance Management System.Basic English speaking skills and writing proficiency.Able to work in offshore harsh environment.
